Blaster is a computer virus that falls in to category of computer worms. This worm is first start to spread on August 11, 2003. The worm spread by exploiting a buffer overflow in the DCOM RPC service on the affected operating systems.
This worm is also known as Lovsan or Lovesan because it contains hidden message "I just want to say LOVE YOU SAN". Blaster spread on computers running the Microsoft operating systems, Windows XP and Windows 2000.
