Cakewalk Application Language (CAL) is a scripting language produced by Cakewalk (formerly known as Twelve Tone Systems, Inc.). CAL is used to create scripts that perform some function within the Cakewalk environment.
Typically, CAL scripts are use to extend the functionality of Cakewalk in some fashion that is useful to you. CAL is an event-processing language that you use to extend Cakewalk Pro Audio and Professional with custom editing commands.
