NetBurst is a CPU architecture developed by Intel. The first one to use NetBurst architecture was the Willamette core which was released in late 2000. It was the first of the Pentium 4 CPUs. NetBurst architecture introduced technologies such as 'Hyper Pipelined Technology' and 'Rapid Execution Engine' which are firsts in this particular microarchitecture.
The Intel NetBurst was used in the P4 line of CPUs manufactured by Intel Corporation. Intel has replaced NetBurst with the Intel Core micro architecture, released in July 2006.
