Novell is an American software company. Company began in Provo, Utah as Novell Data Systems Inc. in 1979 as a hardware manufacturer producing CP/M based systems. Now company is specializing in network operating systems such as Novell NetWare and SUSE Linux, secure identity management products, and application integration and collaboration solutions.
Novel's slogan is "Software for the Open Enterprise". Novell has a wide array of web-based and phone-based support options for its customers. The Novell support website was named one of the "Ten Best Web Support Sites" in 2003 by the Association of Support Professionals.
