The Unified EFI Forum or UEFI Forum is a non-profit organization responsible for developing, managing and promoting the UEFI specifications. In addition to the UEFI specification, the forum also is responsible for Self-Certification Test for UEFI Specification.
The Unified EFI Forum is an alliance between several leading technology companies. The forum board of directors includes representatives from AMD, American Megatrends, Apple, Dell, HP, IBM, Insyde Software, Intel, Lenovo, Microsoft, and Phoenix Technologies.
